Justice Praveen Patil of Nagpur Bench of Bombay High Court and Dilip Ingole, Treasurer of Shri Shivaji Shikshan Sanstha, Amravati were present as the guests of the programme. Students from the college showed a spontaneous response in this competition. A total of 32 teams participated in the moot court competition while more than 50 competitors participated in the judgment writing competition. Adv Amar Deshmukh and Adv Pradeep Mahalle were present at the inauguration of the competition. Dr Rajesh Patil delivered the introductory remarks. Adv Amar Deshmukh guided the students about legal careers in the corporate sector. While Adv. Pradeep Mahalle guided the students on legal skills. Principal Dr Varsha Deshmukh delivered the presidential address.
While guiding the prize distribution ceremony, Justice Praveen Patil, Bombay High Court, Nagpur Bench, Nagpur explained how important moot court and judgment writing are in a legal career. In his presidential address explained how important it is to be a litigation lawyer rather than a corporate lawyer.
Principal Dr Varsha Deshmukh delivered the introductory remarks, while Prof Dr Rajesh Patil conducted the prize distribution programme by giving detailed information about the Moot Cor Association. Prof Dr Prachi Kadu conducted the programme while Vaishnavi Pachde, a student, pa posed a vote of thanks.
Prizes were distributed to various winners on this occasion. In the moot court competiton the first prize was won by the tea of students Renu Uttmani, Samruddhi Giri and Komal Chirade, while the second prize was won by the team of student Shrawani Nistane and Romisa Khan. In the judgment writing competition, the first prize was accorded to Shrawani Nistane while the second prize to student Gayatri Barbade.
Bhagyashree Harne won best research prize. Ga Kakrania won the first prize the best mooter, while Renu Uttmani won the second prizr. Adv Vaibhav Ingle, Vaibhav Tayade Deepmala Chauhan, and others worked hard for success of t competition.
