A) CONDITIONS OF ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION

1) For LL.B. First SEMESTER

  1. Persons who have passed any Degree Examination of Amravati University or an Examination recognised as equivalent thereto.
  2. Admission of a student to the above course shall be on the basis of merit.
  3. The minimum percentage of marks required in the qualifying Examination for admission in the above course should be 45% and for SC/ST 40%.
  4. Preference in all respect v ill be given to the students of Sant Gadge Baba Amravati Uni\ ersity, Amravati.
    That the applicant for admission to LL.B. Course who have less than 45% Marks at Bachelor Dgree Level, but above 40% at degree level can be considered for Admission to LL.B. 1st
  5. Semester Course provided he has to pass admission test (LL.B.etc.) with 50% mark in the test to be conducted for himself by the Sant Gadge Baba A.mravati University if the seats remained vacant.

III) APPROPRIATE CONDITIONS TO ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION

First Semester LL.B Passed the examination for the Bachelor's Degree in any of the faculties of the University or any other statutory University or Examination recognised as equivalent thereto or last higherexamination specified under the rules approved by Bar Council of India with 45% marks in aggregate (relaxable upto 5% in the case of students of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes). Provided candidate having less than 45% marks in aggrigate but not less than 40% marks at the Degree Examinatin shall be eligible for admission after he/ she has qualified on securing minimum 50% aggregate marks in the entrance test conducted by the University.
